Welcome to McFadden Vineyard! McFadden Vineyard has been family owned and operated since 1970 in Potter Valley, where Guinness McFadden has been farming organically for 38 years. The hot days and cool nights of Potter Valley give our wines exceptional character and flavor; and meticulous care of the soil enables us to produce top quality grapes year after year. A vibrant natural ecosystem, which is essential to maintaining a healthy organic vineyard, is supported by the renowned Russian River and neighboring Mendocino National Forest. Thankfully, not much has changed here in pastoral Potter Valley in the past 50 years… it is truly a hidden gem. We began producing our wine in 2003 after many years selling our grapes to top wineries in the Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino counties. We are still a boutique winery producing fewer than 3,000 cases of quality wine. We hope you will try some of our wines, we know you will enjoy them!
